There is no manmade Global Warming!

The Sky isn't Falling or Burning!

This news should have been announced on all the major and minor news channels recently but it has been missed almost entirely.  Data was released in January 2012 proving that since 1997 there has been no measurable increase of global temperatures.

A report recently released from the  East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, a.k.a. the UK Met, shows that the Earth has not warmed in 15 years.  After the substantial El Nino of 1998, the warming ceased.

Is this a big news item?

The weather models that predicted steady increase of global temperatures from the year 2000 until now have failed.  This should be major news and Albert Gore should be stripped of his Nobel Peace Prize.

Is there a warranty on his products and profits gained from his Chicken Little approach?

Given the blazing data reported, ALL news media outlets should have been knocking down the door of every Global Warming Religion proselytizer demanding reactions to the true statistical data.

I’m reminded of the false prophet that last year who warned everyone of the end of the world.  The day came and went without incident.  The only disaster was to the poor gullible souls who invested in the farce.

The same should be the case with the prophets of the Global Warming Religion, with the chief High Priest Albert Gore, leaving the stage of public opinion in disgrace and shame.

As reported on the newsnet5 article Pal Brekke a senior adviser at the Norwegian Space Centre stated that many scientists underestimate the importance of oceanic water cycles when considering global temperatures.  “Doing so means admitting that the oceans – not CO2 – caused much of the global warming between 1970 and 1997,” Brekke said.

Now before you get comfortable with the lack of a scorched earth, the proponents of panic may go the other way again and claim that man is responsible for Global Cooling again.  “Please securely fasten your seat belts and put your tables in the upright position before takeoff!”

True Faith in Christ

Faith Grows

What is the difference between faith and belief?  Can anyone just think or say that Jesus is the Son of God and all is done?

First of all He taught us how to behave, how to act and program our thoughts before we act in a very compact sermon located in Matthew 5 through Matthew 7.  It is simple to understand.  It is not as easy to do every moment of your life.  That is what this life is for, to master our soul and be perfect as he commanded us to be.

Jesus did say that straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and broad is the way that leads to destruction.

Faith is an action word.  Grace is the Saviors act of forgiveness after we have repented or changed, not before.  If we are still in the habit of not following Christ’s instructions as listed in His gospel noted above, we have not repented yet and the grace of God cannot take hold in our life.

I have had friends in the past who have been convinced that once you say you believe in Jesus and accept Him as your Savior, it’s all good.  That’s NEVER what Jesus said.  As a matter of fact, I have taken the time to pull out the words of Jesus recorded in the New Testament regarding what Jesus said about the subject.  You can look up all the references and read the before and after context.  Anyone who cares to learn what Jesus wants for us will not have to rely on any dogma filtered through the agenda of anyone. Basically Jesus tells us that words are important but if they are not backed up by our actions, talk is cheap.

Matthew 5: 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Jesus then spends more time and effort teaching us what to say and do in chapters 6 and 7 and then says:

Matthew 7: 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

So, there you have it.  That is what Jesus said about doing what He instructed us.  The world will be a very wonderful place when we all love God and each other as we have been instructed to.  He is our Father and we are all His children.

Fear Rules

If I paid attention to all the things others people would like me to be fearful about, I could be in a constant state of panic.

I must follow a few rules to prevent or eliminate fear.  From my experience, when making decisions based on fear, serious miscalculations are often the result.  If I conquer fear, I can conquer my surroundings.

Rule 1. Be still.  What I have found to be the most profound is to be still.  I find that meditating and prayer in the morning first thing will pave the way for a productively peaceful day.  When I am able to be still and have a personal distillation process take place within my mind, body and soul, a foundation is laid for the day.  At the end of the day before I go into the rest and repair mode of sleep, I am able to let go of the accumulated stresses and strains by being still.  Turn it off.  Sometimes we can be TOO turned on to others thoughts and ideas and have our own valuable thoughts and impressions pushed aside. There is a scripture that says: “Be still and know that I am God.”  There are several ways to read that passage.  Inflection and emphasis on the word ‘know’ implies that we cannot know God without being still.

Rule 2.  Love.  I must truly love myself so that I may have a softened heart to be able to love others.  I’m not talking about the warped emotional sickness of narcissism or selfishness that is the result of an emotional void being filled in perpetually un-fulfilling ways.  I’m talking about being able to tell myself and deeply feel care and concern for my soul now, in the past, and myself that is to be. As feeling grows, it is impossible to contain.  Radiation is a natural consequence of being filled.  Light naturally fills and expands as does love.  As I bask and contemplate, realizations and insights happen.

3. Gratitude.  There is a scripture that says we must “Thank the Lord thy God in all things.”  If something I perceive to be bad happens, it is not naturally logical to be grateful for that bad thing.  Miracles happen when that practice is instituted.  Sometimes I must be reminded to be thankful in all things.  It is then important to be surrounded by those with our best interests at heart and remind to thank God for ALL things.

Finally, when I am in a state of confident contemplation, I can then make the best decisions and take the best actions.  I have seen the contrast.  This really works.

Radical Gardening

My wife says I’m crazy.  I know I am.  I’m going to be a crazy radical gardener and more.

I remember when I was 4 years old working in the backyard garden with my family in New Zealand.

My parents didn’t know a thing about gardening and I wanted to help.  I grabbed a shovel and started digging.

At one point, I wanted to go deeper into the soil but didn’t have a body large enough to jump onto the shovel like my dad.  I wanted to go really deep into the dirt so I lifted the shovel up as high as I could and brought it down onto my right big toe.

My parents rushed me to a doctor to make sure there was no long-term damage.  The toe was fine after a few weeks.

My mother tells me I would always go out and ride on the tractor with the agricultural missionaries and play in the mud and dirt at every moment.

Before we left New Zealand, I planted some apple seeds.  I was about 5 years old and didn’t realize we were leaving the country soon so I didn’t get a chance to see the fruits of my labors.

In Arizona my father tried to grow a garden and didn’t know anything about growing in a harsh environment and stuck to trees and grass.

I had my biggest success in Oregon.  On the side of a hill I had a terraced strawberry patch, a traditional garden and some old fruit trees in the orchard.  Love fresh Bing cherries right off the tree.  In the summer we got a large salad bowl of strawberries every day.

I now live in Texas, north of Dallas.  Not the easiest growing environment.  It could be worse.  I have the bug to grow and produce as much as possible on our property.

The Emperor Has No Credit

All the little children were standing at the side of  the road, watching the parade, pointing at the Emperor, laughing and saying out loud, “The Emperor has no Credit!”  This has been going on for a long time but the Emperor’s advisers were telling him everything was fine.

Are you surprised and shocked at the S&P downgrade?   Tim Geitner and Barak Obama are.

In the words of Good Ol Gomer Pile – “Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!”

Is Obama really surprised?

The Obama Emperor Administration and their surrogates are screaming that S&P made a big mistake.  Tim Geitner a little while ago said that there was no possible chance that the U.S. credit would be downgraded.

At this point it is simply perpetual self delusion or flat out lies. Are they that stupid or that dishonest?  Perhaps it’s a mixture of both.

The general population has known for years that we can’t keep living beyond our means.

Geitner also said he wouldn’t be firing up the printing presses before Quantitative Easing 1&2.  He pulled the surprise on us and printed as if in a counterfeiters fantasy.  Trying to print your way out of a recession with unparalleled debt is just plain stupid.  Stupid is as stupid does.

We should have know that a Treasury Secretary who didn’t pay his taxes is either incompetent, immoral or perhaps both.  Obama, what were you thinking?

It has been evident for a long time that  ……  The emperor has no credit. They’ve been caught with their financial pants down, messing with the fundamentals of the country.  Get your filthy hands off our fundamentals.

Here’s the problem.  The U.S. government income (taxes and fees) is much less than the U.S. expenses.

That’s all there is to it.

Countries and companies are have been losing faith in the U.S. governments ability to balance the budget and pay down the debt or stay solvent for some time.  S&P just confirmed reality.

Let’s do a family household comparison.

Let’s say that a family of four has roughly an annual income of $46,000.

This household also has had expenses of almost $80,000.   They also have not stayed within their means or spent less than they brought in for a long time.

This family has also racked up a debt on their revolving line of credit of $300,000 and is borrowing to make the monthly payments on that debt.  They offer no collateral or assets on the loan but are offering a simple full faith and credit of the family household.  They ask for you to just trust them.

Question.  Would you loan $35,000 loan to this family?  Do you trust that this family will someday learn to live within their means and pay down their debts?

This family household example is a rough estimate of the ratios that the U.S. Federal Government is operating under and what the Standard and Poor’s rating agency took into account to find the U.S. government lacking.

S&P would be foolish to continue giving the U.S. a best rating.  The argument could be made that they have been derelict in their duty in waiting so long to downgrade the U.S.

There seems to be no shortage or morons out there that blame the wrong source of the problem.

Michael Moore, the inflammatory and distorting entertainer has done just that. He says that Obama should arrest the CEO of S&P.  That’s like arresting a bank for denying a loan to someone about to go bankrupt.

One of the congressmen directly responsible for the mortgage debacle, Barney Frank, says that it’s the military’s fault that S&P downgraded.  As David Letterman says, “WHAT?!!!”

Other morons like David Assholerod and Coward Dean are blaming the Tea Party for the downgrade. That’s like suing someone for the loss of a leg when all they tried to do was stop the bleeding after the leg was already chopped off.

Congress is simply addicted to buying votes.  They don’t want to tell the American public that the gravy train and free lunch is over.

For years, warnings have been raised and ignored.

The idot Congressman Pete Stark of California is a perfect example.  See this warning that was raised more than a decade ago and see the treatment the interviewer got from the foolish Pete Stark.  Believe it or not, the megalomaniac Congressman is still in office making just as idiotic decisions as ever.

Also today, S&P downgraded the associated Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac,
Depository Trust Co., National Securities Clearing Corp., Fixed Income Clearing Corp. and the Options Clearing Corp.

That means that the pseudo or quasi governmental companies or those backed by the full faith and credit of the United States have less backing.  That’s a little like your bodyguard getting his had busted in a fist fight.

There are intelligent solutions to the problem but they are not easily done.  It’s tough to undo sausage once it’s made.

There is a reckoning coming.  Hell’s a coming unless …………

Economic Growth Prospects For The United States

Economic growth for the next few years are not good.  The tools to game the growth are gone.  The Republicans, Democrats and Independents are in a pickle for the next elections.  The typical methods of “Juicing” the economy will not be available.  Taxes can’t be lowered to seduce anyone paying taxes.  Increasing spending is out of the question to seduce those with their hands out.

The national deficit and debt are astronomical.  Unemployment is high.  The economy is sluggish with large and small businesses gun-shy with a potential double dip recession looming.  Real estate foreclosures are not letting up and could increase.  Commodity prices are not coming down.  Uncertainty perpetuates a lack of investment.

As Ronald Regan said, “Government isn’t the solution to the problem, Government IS the problem!”

Until our government spending is under control and the national debt stops growing, the dollar will continue to suffer internationally which helps keep the price of oil and other goods higher.  Domestic energy production has been and is being hampered.  Inflation is real and the cost of borrowing may be going up.

According to CNS News China has now divested itself of 97 percent of its short-term US Treasury Bonds.  The next step for China is to cease buying any long-term Treasury Bonds and stop buying any new long term bonds.  Who wants to be left holding the bag if the US defaults?  Think it can’t happen?

Some of the situations were cleared up or restructured quickly and others were not.

Is the US too big to fail?  What caused this potential failure?

The big ideas in the US Constitution of limited and separated powers have been altered or ignored.  The beginning of the end was when the Supreme Court allowed Congress to spend on anything is wants for “the general welfare” of the country instead of following Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution.

The tipping point is soon approaching where the US will not have the luxury of honoring all the obligations it has made to taxpayers and bond holders.  The interest rates of the bonds will be going up drastically when the buyers dry up which will further cut into Congressional ability to balance a budget.

If Congressional spending were under control, the lack of bond buyers would not be an issue.  They could simply retire the debt.

Congress and the Executive seem still to have little or no will to do the hard thing.  Both branches fear being voted out of office for making hard choices that will be bitter medicine for the voters to swallow.  Honesty in politics hasn’t been the policy for some time.  Is honesty really the best policy to get re-elected?  The general population has been seduced with unrealistic promises for so long that they are not prepared for what is about to hit them.

What are the solutions?  Cut spending.  Phase out all welfare programs and any activity not listed in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution.  Keep taxes basically where they are until the debt is substantially reduced.  Make it favorable for corporations to stay and move to the US.  Foster pro-business policy and regulation in general.   Easy to say.  Tough to do.

The Future Is Now

Our individual and collective goal is to be perfect.

• Perfection is defined by pure intelligence.
• The physical realm follows eternal laws perfectly.
• Discovering truth through pure intelligence and implementing it is our role as mortals.
• We have been placed into time and space for eternal purpose.

The goal of perfection is now possible.  Let me state it a little differently.  The goal of perfection is possible now.

Now is the only time forever.  Now is our present, future, and past. As we become eternal, time becomes a thing of the past. It will be the ultimate merger.  We will in a non-linear dimension.

That is why it is critical to enlighten, clean up the past, make amends, or repent.

The question of the ancients has always been, “What manner of man should I be?”  The answer from Pure Intelligence, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”  After His resurrection Christ added, “Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, even as I am.”  Individually and collectively we must be intelligent, pure, perfect.

There are amazing discoveries, revelations and technologies that are already discovered that will not be revealed until we are ready.  There are more that will be developed as more of us refine and purify.  They will be rolling out only when we are ready.  We will reflect and see this time as a sort of dark age in comparison.

God, Christ, Nature, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Geology, and Biology will be revealed to be a concert of incredible beauty, intelligence, majesty, brilliance and radiant harmony. The blinders are coming off.

We Only Have A Few Seconds To Live

We only have a few seconds to live!

We really, truly, only live a few seconds every day.  In the presence or our present we consciously deal with what is in front of us, anticipate the next moment of life, and subconsciously process and react to what just occurred.  The change is constant.

Thoughts trigger emotions which ripple through our bodies.  Our bodies generate actions and reactions.

Scientists and philosophers contemplate and test how much control individuals truly have over their destiny.  Do we have choice or free will?  Are we producers or simply products?  Are we creators or creation?  Do we matter or are we simply of matter? Are we genetic soup or master chefs?  Is our inner intelligence intelligent or is it meaningless mental echo sloshing around in the tides of environment?

The answer is….yes.  Is the riddle solved?  It is within each individual.  Our ability is to be the master or the slave, the victim or the victor, the action or reaction, the live or the living dead.  Our future is determined by the accumulation of our collective now moments.  To Be or Not To Be.  I am not.  Perhaps I am.  I am.  The past, present and future melt into one as we chose to live.

Whenever we make the choice to capture the moment and make a choice instead of reacting out of environmental conditions or habit, we influence ourselves drastically.  When captured enough, an explosion of permanence takes hold.  Consistent choice cements character.

There are those in science and academia who state as revival gospel truth that we are victims of our ancestors and can’t do a thing about it.  On the contrary, some experimenters have discovered and are uncovering details that what we think and do affects our DNA directly and indirectly.

Artificial Food Coloring is BAD For You!

Ya Think?

Today’s big news is that after years of reluctant study and semi-serious contemplation and probably millions or billions of  tax payer dollars, the FDA is going to hold a panel to decide if they will restrict artificial dyes in food.  I like to think of them as artificial stains.  (UPDATE April 3rd, just after April Fools Day – The FDA said nevermind.  They don’t think they should ban or restrict anything regarding artificial stains – Psych – the vote was 8 to 6.)

Multiple studies have shown that kids get ADHD symptoms when they ingest the laboratory goodies.

My simple study could have saved billions.

My small study proved that artificial dyes need to be killed off.  Whenever my kids would eat artificial colors in things like Fake Fruit Rollups, Fake Fruit Loops, Fake Candy, Fake You Name It, they would get all wound up and act NUTTIER THAN SQUIRREL POOP!  It’s like watching Sponge Bob on acid.  Whenever they would eat healthy colors in real food they acted, well, healthy.

Apparently the heat is building against putting artificial dyes in food.  All I can say is, “What Is Taking So Long!?”  There is so much crap that the FDA ‘approves’ as safe in food.  How about the drugs that only cause only an acceptable percentage of the people taking it to consider blowing their brains out?  Many are later recalled after years of presure.  They say it was ‘discovered’ as damaging.

It is our responsibility to Read The Labels.  The problem is that many modern food companies have made figuring out what’s REALLY in their food more complicated than doing a Rubix Cube blindfolded with mittens on.  It seems some days that “Natural Flavoring” could include arsenic, strychnine and uranium and still be approved.

It seems sometimes that the only criteria for approval is if there is a sufficient reward path for those in charge of approving.  It’s OK as long as there is big enough a profit motive.

Teachers Unions Are Dumbing Down America

Which Way From Here?

As currently structured, the Teachers Unions should be banned from America.

I don’t like being upset.  I don’t like yelling at people but I feel like yelling right now.

There is no collective public good coming from these unions unless you think a fat, lazy and stupid American public is good.

I just watched the documentary, “Waiting For Superman.”

You must watch it and get mad enough to demand the Teacher Unions be reformed or banished for all time from a freedom loving society.  Have everyone you know watch the movie and get busy!

In a nutshell, we are being robbed by the teachers unions of America – the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).  They promote tenure which has no business in a productive society.  My father was a teacher and a member of the NEA and discouraged me from becoming a teacher with the current state of teaching in America.  Bad teachers cannot be fired after they get tenure.  Watch the movie and you’ll see

This movie shows very clearly that the teachers unions are the most powerful political force in America.  The are responsible for the dumbing down of America and its possible demise.

The Superman in the documentary is KIPP! – Knowledge Is Power Program – Charter Schools.  They are only serving 27,000 students currently.  The number needs to be 55 million.

If you want America to succeed, get every child you can to get into this Program to privately destroy the evil, greedy, lazy, unproductive, selfish lock the teachers unions have over our parents and children.

If you are a true philanthropist, donate to these schools, generate scholarship programs, fight to allow these charter schools to compete openly and honestly for our America’s educational funds.

The KIPP movement was established in 1994 and has been getting phenomenal results.  The teachers unions are threatened and are pushing KIPP and other effective programs around and sadly making inroads into what must become a national emergency priority.

Bill Gates is  in the documentary and says that if something isn’t done quickly, the USA will be lost.

What Will The Standard and Poor’s bond rating affect?

The news from The Standard and Poor’s site is, “On April 18, 2011, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services revised its outlook on its ‘AAA’ long-term sovereign credit rating on the government of the United States of America to negative.”

These are some of the items at stake in the USA: home values and the ability to buy and sell, credit card interest rates, business loans, pension or 401k values, checking or savings account values, life insurance long term values, annuities, college savings …. and so on and so on.

Ok, here’s the big news.  The Obama Administration and the folks in Congress are not stupid (well, most of them).  They are just political cowards or are intent on destroying the United States fundamental economy.  President Obama has said he wanted to fundamentally change the USA and is doing an effective job.

If anyone in Congress says what needs to be said, they are attacked as executioners of senior citizens and pre-school children.  Everyone wants the other guys golden egg.

On my previous post in 2009, I noted that the famous Julian Robertson’s words in 2008 that inflation could hit 15-20%.  Things have not improved since then and have gotten worse.

Depending on who’s doing the math, the US spent more than $400 billion in interest on the approximately $13 Trillion debt in 2010.  The  deficit spending was and still is out of control.  The interest rates paid are at historic lows.  The average interest rate paid on the debt was around 3%.  Most of that debt is short term treasury bills and those historic rates will not last.

Here is what will most likely happen. If the bond rating of US treasuries are downgraded by  Standard and Poor’s 6 months to 2 years from now, interest rates on new Treasury bills or bonds will skyrocket to around 8-12% within 3 months, no matter what Moody’s says.  The overnight bank to bank interest rate will skyrocket.  Rates on loans to businesses will shoot through the roof.  Loans to home purchasers will go sky high causing real estate prices to crash.  The ability of people to move or transfer will be severely hampered.  Those who are upside down on their homes will default and foreclosures will rise again.  The speed of all financial transactions will slow down as will economic growth.  Unemployment rates will go up and either hyper inflation or deflation will kick in full gear.  We could have another round of deflay-inflation, where real estate crashes and commodities prices inflate.

The ability of the USA to pay it’s bond obligations will not be able to be met.  Over a 4 year period the interest on the national debt will average 6-8%, depending on how high the downgrade interest rate on new bonds will be.

By that time, the national debt will be $20 Trillion at least.  But lets say for whatever reason, that the deficit gets reigned by January 2012  and caps out at $16 Trillion (very unlikely before a new election cycle).  If the average interest rate on the debt is 6% instead of 3% in 2010, the interest payment on the debt would be just $40 billion shy of $1 Trillion dollars per year.

Current folks in power are talking of slowing the growth of the debt over 10 years.  Six months to 2 years doesn’t allow for that luxury.  The solution is to radically cut or eliminate spending on all welfare programs including Medicaid/Medicare and Social Security.  The nation is not taking this seriously

Hang on for a wild ride because we are sitting on a time bomb.  The golden goose egg has been replaced with a rotten one about to explode.

So You Want To Be A Socialist.

Maxine Waters wants you to be a Socialist.

Maxine Waters, the self proclaimed Liberal (aka Socialist or Progressive) accidentally spoke her truth and tried to cover it up.  See her long uncomfortable pause while trying to rephrase her real intent into something more palatable to the American public was pathetic.  After realizing that there was no realistic way to re-phase her comments without looking more foolish, she continued on her train of thought of her Socialistic dream to take over the oil companies.

Are you shocked?  I am shocked that she felt politically safe enough that when she slipped up she eventually spoke her mind.  What a terrible job we have done at educating our Americans that would allow such a person to be and stay in office.

Maxine Waters and her friends planned and succeeded to take over the mortgage industry to provide loans to those who didn’t deserve it.   She helped perpetuate the corruption before the housing bubble burst.  Let’s look at Maxine Waters and friends wisdom in the housing crisis.  This video is from 2004 was long before the housing bubble burst.  There were certain regulators that saw what was going on and tried to raise the alarm and make corrections.  See what crooks are running our country still.

Will she get kicked out of Congress for her pending ethics violations investigations?

There are plenty of her types in the federal government right now so she may get a pass.

Do you really want Socialists running the company you work for or if you own your own business?  There has been no successful model of Socialism EVER!  If you want to see the model she prefers, look no further than Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.  Contracts and property rights are not well respected.  Government spending is on the rise. The government has taken over many private enterprises. Private investment has decreased drastically.

Yes, Venezuela’s gasoline is artificially cheap but not for long.  Despite cheap gas, their economy is dwindling.

Maxine’s still trying to wreak havoc this month.  Maxine reintroduced H.R. 1567, the Foreclosure Prevention and Sound Mortgage Servicing Act of 2011.  Hasn’t she done enough already?  She said in April, “This bill is the first in a series of legislative proposals that I plan to introduce to further regulate the servicing industry and to protect homeowners.”

She’s done such a fine job already in housing and she wants to take over the oil industry too?  Who keeps voting these clowns into office?
